I listened to postgame. He didn’t bash anything
Then you need to change your definition. I liked how he started about not doing well with getting his ass kicked. When he started in on the fans that used to go to their tailgate and said “our fans are starting to be big time fans” that was crap, there’s not people leaving at halftime.

I’ve been through the down years and kept my tickets and donations flowing. The fans he was bitching about are the same fans that have made his $7,500,000 salary possible and stayed even when they shut down leaving at halftime. Gundy needs to move on from the subject, it’s a dinosaur.

I think you do. You are begging for anything to bash gundy over. This is weak. As. Hell. Actually is is complete bullshit
No it’s not, he does not get a damn pass on one game. If he wants to bitch about people not sticking around he might talk to the coaching staffs in the west end zone that either leave or don’t show up. That’s a terrible look.

Nope, I’ve been to the games I make the donations. His act is stale, but I didn’t say fire him. Why are you so desperate to defend his entitled behavior?
Probably because you classify Gundy's behavior as an act or "entitled". It isnt. Other coaches of his caliber are treated differently when having off years. Is he on par with the great coaches of all-time? No. But his teams and his name are on multiple lists over his tenure for being a successful coach. Why people continue to argue this point is beyond me. He hasnt simply achieved wins by scheduling creampuffs. Every SEC coach plays an FCS opponent every year and no one bats an eye. Gundy's teams are on lists for beating ranked opponents or winning as underdogs, against the spread, etc. That means he is always being thought of as the lessor of two teams in matchups but consistently beats the odds. Its becauae of perception of the school & the talent he brings in. We came in to this season knowing the QB situation was a huge ? regardless of who started. Bowman may be the answer and just needed time to familairize with the offense in realtime. Who knows?
All coaches at Gundy's level understand what is expected and respond in kind to the media and fans. Some in this fanbase beat up Gundy because of one metric and its because of the crimson mouthbreathers we've all dealt with for eternity.
Someday, we will move on from Gundy and I will defend that coach juat as much until it is decide they must go as well.

Sorry, you feel how you want to feel. I get it with personal investment and what-not.

Its just tiresome how people project normal behavior onto a profession that is anything but normal in expectation.

We will look back at the Gundy years like we look back at the Sutton years.

The good old days

I think Gundy is a master of his own choosing at being a horse’s ass when the team or position group or a player(s) is struggling.

I appreciate how he diverts the attention to him instead of the players. We watch his words/actions and then bitch about him. He couldn’t care if we bitch about him as long as his team is protected.

Expectations are that we aren’t in the spot prior to this week. You pick the best players and you go, even if your son doesn’t get to play. I’m glad we won, hopefully it will continue.

It’s funny how the band of birrys won’t admit to this

They were
They’re are without a doubt plenty of those, a few on this forum for sure. I don’t think @andylicious fits that group though.

I didn’t hear anything post game to be upset about but there are times when HCMG just rubs the wrong way. The last year can do that. If last night is a foreshadow as opposed to fluke, everyone will move on. Winning cures.

What a great team win against a very good football team. All 3 units had a big hand in this win, all 3 max big time plays. That was Oklahoma State football! I have faith in Gundy and will continue to support his program and leadership. On to Ku.

Thank you, and you are right it just rubbed me the wrong way. I hope we win out.
