Certainly not OSU's worst season ever but I think it's safe to say it is the worst season ever with legitimate high preseason expectations attached to it. At least I can't think of another season with so much promise that ended so badly.

Said the portal was his fault, he didn't want to fork over cash to new guys who had not proved themselves. That let to a lack of depth. Said he's accepted that he just has to do that going forward.

Nonsense. He didn’t hit portal due to his own old school arrogance. It’s not like Gundy was tasked with paying dudes with his own money. All he has to do is have vision, passion, and sell kids on oSu. Gundy is lazy and has some sort of inferiority complex going up against other schools. It shows in recruiting and has manifested on field countless times
