Official Game Thread: Oklahoma State vs. Colorado

Read through Gundy’s postgame, he apparently thought we played pretty good on defense and the plan was good. 52-0, you gave up 475yrds with 440 through the air. I get we finally had a few sacks and turnovers put them in bad positions but man, for a head coach to say there was anything good about that is beyond me. Just say we stunk it up all the way around and need to retool and regroup this offseason.

He then talked to the media about how honest he’s been this season. If these are honest assessments, we’d better start taking up a collection for that buyout.

There’s $25,000,000 on the line. His media behavior coupled with the performance this season is enough cause to fire him, what have we got to lose?

Do you have the money to pay his buyout?
The question is going to become what

As I said weeks ago-there should be virtually nothing but I’VE got to be better, WE’VE got to be better.

If he even actually believes any of what he said, then he’s so out of touch that he doesn’t even understand what he’s saying is an indictment of himself.

His actions and words this season positively wreak of a guy who’s got one foot in retirement. I have zero faith in him getting this program back on track, sorry. The guy that built this thing, & he deserves credit for it, is now the guy that drove it into the ditch. This is what have you done for me lately job, not a ‘well it could always be worse’ deal. The arrogance of his comments a couple of weeks ago will stick to him for a long time with people who have supported and defended him for years.

I’m no big donor and never will be because I think the whole system is a joke, but I know plenty of people who are and they’re disgusted with him. At a time when raising money is positively essential, we’ve got a dinosaur coming on postgame after postgame with ‘well, I thought we had a good plan’ bullshit. Eddie’s rolling in his grave saying you’re the fn HEAD COACH Mike!

Zero faith he brings this program back to relevance. And we’ve got a 12, soon to be 16 team playoff with no OU or Texas in our way.🤬

The defense gave up less than 500 yards since the noncon, maybe that is why he thinks they played better???

Todays game was an absolute embarrassment to the program. Everyone looked like they've quit. Colorado is talented no doubt...but they're not a playoff caliber team and we showed zero resistance.

The most disappointing season in OSU football history is over.

The first 9 game losing streak in a single season.

Big off-season ahead: Five of the 11 position coaches and coordinators have been with OSU for a least 10 years. Dunn has been inconsistent and Nardo has been downright awful. Changes are likely coming from what I've been told and I sure hope so.

Oklahoma State defense gave up the highest YPC in program history. You aren't going to win games with that stat.

I hate that Ollie Gordon and Brennan Presley go out like this. OG could've shut it down way earlier in the year...but stuck it out...He's a Cowboy. BP has been amazing as well. All time leader in receptions at OSU. I will miss both of them next season.

Staff is going to have to hit the portal HARD. Intriguing off season ahead.

I listened to former Cowboy Robert Jones on the Animal's postgame. Rodney Fields played for him at Del City last year.

He said "this team takes on the personality of their coach."

Talked about his lack of emotion and passion.

"A lot of current players are worried about the future of this team."

"They practice terrible and then they hear him say they had a good week."

"His voice isn't meaning anything to them."

A lot more on that theme. He mentioned he texted Fied's uncle on the way back from Boulder.

Wonder if Gundy will have exit interviews with players or just assume they'll come back?

I also listened to Gundy with RA...

Said the portal was his fault, he didn't want to fork over cash to new guys who had not proved themselves. That let to a lack of depth. Said he's accepted that he just has to do that going forward.

What a moron
My god. Dude became a dinosaur in 3 years.

How could he even possess that perspective given Tyler Patton, anemone Gary, Jaylen Warren, Bowman, etc c…??? I’m forgetting guys, I know, but my god we’ve had some impactful transfers, hello!!!?

Yes, he's a moron. But he's also fu*king lazy. That's quite the combo for around $8 million annually.

our offense was yuck, but our defense was AWFUL...in 9 conference games, we gave up opposing teams biggest scoring day 4 times, and 3 other times it was the 2nd most of season...total yards: we allowed opposing teams biggest days 7 times, the other 2 times it was the 2nd most of season...WTF...
