Well, the SEC message board is whining about the personal foul call...

Whine away. I was pissed about several calls. They should be more concerned about their turnovers.

What? Bowman’s penalty did nothing, we still kick the field goal with the same time. If they get the offsides correct, 1st down, we run the clock down to 2 seconds and kick a short field goal to win.

We came out on top on the scoreboard but it doesn't feel like a win in my gut.

Feels more like Arkansas just shot themselves in the foot enough that we got lucky. And that really simply means that they shot themselves in the foot way more than we did. Because we shot ourselves in the foot a ton as well.

I fully expect Ollie's post-play antics to cost the team significantly in a big moment at some point in the year. What a fun player to watch between the whistles but wish he would chill out with his acting/drama/mouth.

I think it was both. We found a way to move the ball and at least the slow the run, AND they shot themsleves in the foot.

Ollie is a good kid but a player others will love to hate and I get it

No it didn’t. We still would have ran 3 times and kicked a shorter fg and they still get the ball back. If they didn’t botch the penalty we kick a fg as time expires.

What does that matter? We were going to run it 3 times and kick a FG and they would get the all back just the same

Yeah, so? We still run and make them burn timeouts. Time remains the same, giving the ball back with 50 sec. The only difference is we kick a shorter field goal.
