You sure?? What have the new players outside of Stribling have done? Kirkland is literally all hype!! CB Kenneth Harris was supposed to replace Muhammad and he's not even seeing the field. The TE's are underwhelming. Bowman is literally a bust but everyone was hyping him up in the offseason. He plays like he's been on the bench for the last 2 seasons. The OL transfers suck. Cooper has several holding calls so he fits in the this trash ass OL. The guys we brought in ain't shit

I didn’t claim the guys we got were good. But Dickey and Dunn are a much bigger part of losing than the portal is. The guys don’t leave if anyone upfront can block and if the offense is halfway decent. Some probably leave, certainly not all. Not 1 skill player that we lost has scored a td. Maybe I missed one today. Little Presley doesn’t see the field. Green has 6 catches in 3 games. Sanders doesn’t see the field. Jonson has 3 catches in 3 games. Dom richardson has been decent at Baylor. Jp has been decent at tcu. Defensively Ford has 5 tackles in 2 games. Cobb hasn’t played since game 1. None of those guys not a single one would do a damn thing in this offense. Because not one lineman we have can block (shocking it’s the same 5 from last year) and our oc literally has 0 clue what he is doing. It’s not the portal, it’s the shitty offense staff that gundy has assembled. We were just as bad the second half of last year, before anything happened in the portal. The only constant is Dickey, Dunn, gundy, and 5 lineman.

Do you think this team would be better if no one left and the coaching staff stayed the same? Or, if they got a real oline coach and real oc.

You know what would help you get rolling? Pick a QB and stick with him. Offense has no rhythm to it at all. No one looks comfortable

2 cents worth. I’ve never booed my own team or coach. The players hear that. Players get on here and read this whining about how talentless you all believe they are, many by name. Sure wouldn’t make me want to play here or transfer here. That booing crap must stop! Write a letter to administration when you haven’t been drinking so much. Our booing fans are an embarrassment , as are those armchair national championship caliber coaches in here who imagine that they can do better with the money we spend on talent. Calling out teenagers and young people by name is reckless and cruel. You social warriors are part of the problem. For what it’s worth…

Uh no, the offensive difference maker was Jaylen Warren. 1200+ yards with many of the same Oline we see today, he single-handedly gave us a running game. SS was/is better than anything we have now but that’s not saying much.

I think the players are as equally as bad as the coaching...you need the guys at the end of the day. Good players can mask bad coaching. Jaylen Warren is a prime example. Justin Wright hasn't done anything.....dom has been playing well at baylor. He fits their running scheme. You still need jimmys and joes.......We literally didn't replace the talent we lost, and there's not enough coaching to fix that even if Dunn and Dickey were canned. Cobb was good here...better than the LB's playing now especially trash ass benson. If you think it's not the portal I can't help you....To ignore losing 30+ players in the portal is just stupid
