They have confirmed with the trainer twice on the radio that he is not injured.

If that is true this is the worst decision Gundy and company has ever made. The game was still winnable at half time. Leaving Bowman on the bench is malpractice. Rangel has complete 3 passes. Just an utter failure on offense.

Yea if I didn't see him pick Alex Cate over what can be argued as the best QB to ever step foot on campus I would give him a little benefit of the doubt.

He’s going to say he didn’t want to put a guy in there with zero experience in that kind of situation. And maybe he’s right in that. But if the options are a bad 1H Bowman or Rangel you have to go with Bowman. He’s shown he’s capable. Rangel never has.
