I will be honest with you toker. I think ou will be ok in the sec because there are so many teams that are just flat terrible. Right now there are two really good teams plus ole miss. Not only that venables style fits better in the sec. The offenses in the sec are bad. So his defense will look good. In the big 12 he would eventually get fired because they are forced to score every possession to win. That won’t happen a lot.

What I am saying is outside Georgia and Alabama, the sec is weak. Really really weak. And Alabama is going to have a new coach soon.

Your problem is your university is so broke that they will probably demand donations from athletics which will eventually cost the football team.

The ultimate? doubtful. i am not positive 100% of the time. no reason to exaggerate. no matter how hard you try you cant bring me down anyway, it's just the internet. no reason to care that much.

Im on a bunch of boards, so what? It's how i pass the time because I get bored at work. about 90% of the time I am on here, I'm being paid for it, (like right now) so thats winning! Anyway I know you guys like it, this is the most highly trafficked thread on the whole board. you clearly like it.
Cool

Get over yourself hero, I’m aware it’s the internet. Sorry you’re viewed as a prick on this board, get over it.

Oh? The two new teams sec is adding both won 10+ games this year, and both have a top 10 recruiting class. both ranked in the top 13 in the country.

Can you share a link where you read this? I find that intriguing.

But back to what I said- the 4 new teams added to the big 12 have been patently bad. That's real life results, every single one of them was bad this year and didnt win more than 2 conference games. the 4 new teams are basically the 4 worst teams in the conference. this is awful and objectively a watering down of the talent in the big 12.

the only way the sec could be comparable is if both OU and texas fall flat and have a 2-6 sec record next year.
1/2 the new additions hasn’t been near a conf championship in three or four years

I asked my lady's daughter how she feels about OU and she said 'They can all fudge off' Well now of course we would generally not allow that kind of talk, but this time we let it slide.... haha with just a 'pretend' reprimand.😁

The top ten in Athletic Department revenue among the Division One FBS programs are as follows:

Ohio State $251 million dollars
Texas $239 million dollars
Alabama $214 million dollars
Michigan $210 million dollars
Georgia $203 million dollars
LSU $199 million dollars
Texas A&M $193 million dollars
Florida $190 million dollars
Penn State $ 181 million dollars
Oklahoma $177 million dollars

The source, USA Today Sports - College Wire stated OU brought in $177 million in revenue and had expenditures of $ 175 million which left them with a roughly two million dollar profit. I hate them as much as anyone but acknowledge their status and pecking order on the tree!!! It is interesting to see that they would be number 7 in the SEC among revenue according to these numbers!
So they turned 2 million dollars on 175 million. So 2/175 = 0.01142. They earned 1.14% return. That doesn't even keep up with inflation. 🤣🤣🤣

Hot dog prices for 2024 will be increased to $49.95 at Gaylord Focker Memorial Stadium to close the gap.

Yup, and they are just NUMBER 7 in the SEC in revenue according to these financials! That is why I think it will be extremely tough just to keep at an 8-4 level in football, plus they will have to expend a lot more in money and resources in their new neighborhood than what they did in the Big XII where they only had one financial powerhouse to deal with in Texas!!! 🤔

Been better off putting the money in a treasury bond. Atleast that has less risk.
No, they did $2,000,000 on $177,000,000. Of course, Toker will quickly explain it was for extraordinary repairs. That means they would have turned $2.000,000.50 on $177,000,000
