Man we really better hope that Hauss isn’t hurt bad. He is the offense apparently.
It's so bad, oline is getting zero push, while their rbs and qb are gashing us for yards and their online is driving us back. I think they said we are averaging under 3 yds per carryHow are we being out-rushed ?
It is really baffling that our o-line has been so bad for so many years. It's so bad, oline is getting zero push, while their rbs and qb are gashing us for yards and their online is driving us back. I think they said we are averaging under 3 yds per carry
It’s a good thing we went out and got a reputable, experienced Oline coach…It is really baffling that our o-line has been so bad for so many years.
What I’m watching tonight looks like a 2-10 season, one game worse than last year. Last year’s team would beat this team easily! We can probably pull another one out against Tulsa because they aren’t very good either but tell me a Big 12 team that we’re going to beat. This is not a Big 12 caliber team and the beatings are going to be just as bad if not worse than we suffered last year!Going to say, this is probably Mikes last year.
What if during this journey of discovery you discover that you just aren’t very good.It was the first half, of the first game. What's far more important than opening up the playbook, as if it's midway through the season, while in pursuit of the Big 12 championship game. No need to worry, yet.
The first game of the season is less about perfect execution and more about discovery. Coaches enter with a plan designed not only to compete but to evaluate.
They begin by analyzing the roster—identifying which players stand out in practice and how their skill sets can best be utilized on both offense and defense. From there, the staff builds game plans that account for a wide variety of situations: third-down conversions, red zone efficiency, two-minute drills, and overall game flow. The goal is to stress-test the team under real conditions.
In practice, this means calling plays and using formations that reveal where the team is strong and where adjustments are needed. A defense might rotate coverages to see how well cornerbacks hold up in man-to-man situations. An offense might vary tempo, mix personnel groups, or experiment with different blocking schemes to evaluate the line’s cohesion.
While winning is always an objective, the deeper purpose of the first game is diagnostic. By deploying different looks and schemes, coaches gather invaluable information about the team’s strengths and weaknesses, laying the foundation for improvements throughout the s
eason.

There have been a few times if he had kept it he would have some good yardage, wonder if the coaches have told him not to chance it with Hauss outIf Flores keeps the read he will walk in for a TD
