Official Game Thread: Oklahoma State vs. Oregon

And of course to pour salt in the wound, ou bought themselves a good QB and OC and will be back to relevancy. Not that Michigan was anything special, they were very limited offensively with the true freshman QB, but it will give ou confidence. Oregon probably beats either of them by 20 though.

Haisten wrote an article about how he expects Gundy to step down at the end of the year....names some possible replacments...

but in it, he mentions that Weiberg brought a bunch of key donors on a plane with him to the game? What? How did he think this game was going to go? Maybe the angle is....see we need much more money because we can't even compete anymore?

Who is on his list of replacements?

The demolishing has prompted A LOT of Gundy talk, not just locally, but several nationally saying he’s done. About the only one defending him was his son on X giving the whole “Gundy is Oklahoma State football” spiel.

Listening to his postgame on radio it was a bunch of the same as years past. He said as coaches they probably put too much on the players this week. Then he went into his typical stuff about the kids needing to stay off the internet because the internet is mean, and fans just need to support the team. I laughed when he said, I get it, fans just want there team to win. Mike, nobody even expected to win, but the throttling we took was beyond belief.

A lot of season left though, maybe this ends up being like the S Alabama game for us. The good news is this was always going to be an L, so doesn’t change the season at all. Not a lot to be optimistic about though with the D looking as bad as it did, and horrendous QB play. Hoping Hauss heals up quickly, maybe by Arizona. After what happened today with the back to back pick 6’s, I can’t even imagine how conservative this offense is going to be.

The no. 1 problem with firing Gundy is just who the heck are you going to replace him with? I doubt anybody of high quality wants to come to Stillwater with a failed program to contend with.
Who the hell cares. This stupid argument of who will we get oh no doesn’t matter anymore. You either keep hiring and find someone who wants to win or you get barried in irrelevancy with 3 win seasons. You think we can’t do better than that? Is Mike gundy the only solution…. Let’s stop drinking this bottle of rat poison and start working harder because I can promise you he doesn’t care anymore
