Chad is not a good AD. He's just kind of a nice guy, hope everything just runs smoothly guy. I realized this when he and Boynton sat at a table at the press conference when they took questions about the NCAA banning OSU from the NCAA tourney a couple years ago. Boynton was freakin' pissed and Weiberg just said, "well we did all we could do." He just totally rolled over. No fight.

Not just the AD. Coaches like Lanning are full on engaged with donors and fundraising. That's why they are light years ahead of us.

Gundy use to find 2-3 star recruits and turn them into good football players.

Now, he takes those same players and puts them into an offensive system that sucks and can’t move the football. Ollie Gordon was a nfl rb who got better but gundy schemes and lazy coaches made it impossible for him to succeed.

The real problem is that he won’t hire a proven recruiter and offensive line coach that wants to build road graders. The other problem is that he decides overrides logical plays with his own unsuccessful play calls.

Gundy thinks he is Todd monken but he is really bad play caller. He looks great when he has dez bryant james Washington etc but when he doesn’t have that guy he is paralyzed into this boring play caller.

Maybe he’ll go into the restaurant business with his brother, who knows? I really couldn’t blame him for doing exactly that. He can’t be having any fun so he might as well max out his financial opportunities and then enjoy a long retirement!
