Stillwater Regional

The bats haven't been great this weekend, and we joke about solo HRs, but the truth if this offense raised its batting average as a team about .030 points from last year. This was a good offensive team.

Sometimes you have to win a game 3-1.

Offense wasn't the problem overall. The pitching staff was abysmal. A team ERA over 5 is in excusable. You can blame it on bad luck, injuries, or flat out on Rob--what whatever the problem is, this program will not sniff Omaha again until there is a massive improvement on the mound.

That'a "quit" right there by Brown....
Bases loaded and you look at 3 pitches...
That is embarrassing to me...

No such thing as regular season champions in football. No one even acknowledges that except us. 6 inches, 6 yards, still counts as a lose at the end of the day and Baylor was without their starting Quarterback. If your into bowl games that’s great, I would much rather have conference championships, play in the CFP. Haven’t seen a championship since 2011, i can genuinely see fans are frustrated.

Baseball outside of Omaha, has won 2 big XII tournament championships in the last 6 seasons. Has made the championship game 4 out of the last seasons. Also has been in postseason every year he’s been at the helm. 2019 went to super regionals and was an inning away from Omaha. Both have similar accomplishments. I sure wish we went to Omaha more

End of the day both deserve praise and criticism when it’s warranted.

Football lost a trash ass WVU team on senior day, getting your teeth kicked in 48-0 by KSU is flat out embarrassing no way you slice it. I guess if you back to the late 2000s the lose to Troy and Houston were not great. Safe to say it’s been a disappointing year on the men’s side. Hopefully football bounces back
During Gundy's tenure we have reached new highs in football. He established strong winning tradition from a team that was historically average. He beat Texas often and more recently Notre Dame, etc. It is more difficult for a school with limited resources and tradition to achieve what Gundy has. I think many here feel that OSU has a national reputation in baseball and a notable winning history and a brand-new stadium. I bet the consensus is that Holiday is underachieving. It is even more clear that Boynton is underachieving. It benefits all students and alumni to be excited and supportive of their sports programs and for the administration to not get too passive with expectations. There is potential to do better and there are things an AD can do short of firing the head coach.

Agree 100%. Illustrated by Walton and company scrambling late in the season changing pitching starters when McLean came back from injury.

The common denominator to all of it is Rob. I mean look no further than today, an elimination game and he leaves a guy in to give up 6 runs.

Blame falls squarely on Holliday, people can say Walton keeps people in, but Holliday is the head man and if he wanted a guy pulled than he gets pulled. Now if Holliday gave full control and autonomy to Walton with the staff than Josh is dumber than he already looks

What’s scary is that our “top 3” starters are all not going to be in a cowboy uniform next year. Not like they were young freshman adjusting for to the game. Hope we hit the portal hard and have better luck than we did with nut job JWB.
