Dear 2023-2024,
Please be kind to men’s sports such as football, basketball, wrestling, golf, tennis, and baseball. We’re grateful for cross-country with a national runner up finish. We’re grateful for how the women’s sports such as cross-country with a top 4 finish, women’s basketball making a comeback, softball making it to okc, golf overachieving and almost making match play. Please allow the necessary changes to be made, and please put our players and coaches in the best position for success. Finally, please keep our student athletes healthy this upcoming school year. It was a rough year for our athletes from a health perspective.

It's way too early to tell. The portal will be the make or break for Josh. HS recruiting hasn't gone well, I believe. There's some young talent coming back, but what reason is there to think it will be any different?

A forgettable season for sure. They will pump that share of the B12, but realistically 1/3 of a mediocre conference shared that championship.
Funny thing is Chief is always on the fans about voicing concerns over pitching, midweek games, etc. 0-2 and 18-4 loss as a regional host are why those concerns were there. Seems some fans know this team and its flaws better than those close and covering it.

I worry Schubert heads out to Clemson especially if they make the CWS. Only didn't sign with Michigan when Coach Bakich left for Clemson and high school teammate there.
He knows it. He even mentioned at the end of the game you gotta go find some starting pitching. When you are as close to the program as they are things change. He will always protect his guys. He knows the coaches and players on a personal level, which makes it hard to criticize since he sees all the work they put in. I worked with OSU football during undergrad and had the same experience.

Why because the coach is currently at Michigan?? If he’s truly unhappy or we clean house( unlikely) i get it and makes sense but it’s a little too early for the worst case scenario.

ou is at Virginia. They have to beat ECU, who just pummeled them, then UVA twice. No way they have the pitching to do that. Congrats to them though, more success in their regional than we had.Tech just took the lead on UF
