ORU is who I thought they were….still early. Don’t get me wrong they’re a quality ball club. Quality pitching shuts them down. All 3 loses to them, the pitching wet the bed. We could’ve routed ORU early if we didn’t strand 9 runners through the first 4 innings.

This is arguably the toughest regional. I’m pretty sure that it’s the only regional where every team won at least 40 games (Sorry, after research I'm wrong here. Washington has "only" won 35 games). ORU has one of it not the best hitter in college baseball and had no business being a 4 seed. DBU has a top 15 RPI and probably should have hosted if RPI was as big a deal as they made it out to be. Washington went 17-12 in a power 5 conference.

ORU takes the lead 9-8 of a 2 run HR...this game is drunk and sadly the more I watch, it's very clear this was a very winnable regional

I don't disagree and we dang sure shouldn't lose 18-4. Heads need to roll but the NCAA selection committee didn't do us any favors.

Off the top of my head, I know Dallas Baptist won their regional in ‘21

Vandy lost yesterday to Oregon too. So HUZZAH, 2 straight years of prime opportunity to have hosted supers in O'Brate, but we've been embarrassingly ran outta our own regional instead both times.

Oh, and UT and Tech are both in the catbird seat. TCU might well do the same today.
