…….if he turns things around, after he ran them into the ground. History suggests it’s unlikely……..
It's a limited slip differential that distributes power equally to both the right and left tire. How exactly does a posi-trac rear-end on a Plymouth work?
We all know you used Google….It's a limited slip differential that distributes power equally to both the right and left tire.
Wrong, I learned that from watching My Cousin Vinnie. We all know you used Google….

Classic!
Stop with the bowl game stuff, it’s not 1979.18 winning seasons and 18 straight bowl games out of 20 years and playing in the conference title game 2 of the prior 3 years, I’d say history says the opposite of what you’re alluding to. Only time will tell but my bet is the turnaround will be faster than most believe.
History suggest that OSU is highly unikely to win a conference championship and won't win a national championship.Stop with the bowl game stuff, it’s not 1979.
Did history say that a team favored to win a conference championship would go winless?
And no, history doesn’t suggest that someone who oversaw that disaster will rebound successfully.
History doesn’t not say it, either.Stop with the bowl game stuff, it’s not 1979.

What in his opinions seem out of the mainstream? I feel like the OSU fans I know IRL largely want Gundy gone. Maybe he’s said some wild things that I missed.@DxCowboy - Genuinely asking, who is your audience? Who are you trying to convince and why?
I guess I don’t understand what appears to be a personal vendetta against Gundy. Yes he stunk it up this year. Yes his teams have laid some eggs. From the 48-0 beat down in Manhattan to the 52-0 beat down in Boulder, the record is really bad but has been hidden with some smoke and mirrors.
I’m not arguing your points or defending others. I agree with some things all of you have said. I also have zero power to change it. (This year I quit watching us on Saturdays, had zero reason to.). Sweeping chnages have been made to set us up for the future. I’m ok with that and can move on to next year. 6-6 will keep him employed if only to reduce a separation amount further. A losing record and I think he’s in big trouble.
Do any of our programs meet your standards? Again - genuine question not trying to be a prick.
Nothing for me. Like I said, I agree with some of it.What in his opinions seem out of the mainstream? I feel like the OSU fans I know IRL largely want Gundy gone. Maybe he’s said some wild things that I missed.
I was very on the fence with Gundy. 3-9 definitely sucked but worse than that was the total lack of accountability not just by him but the team in general. Also overlooked was the total S-Show that last season was. Making the B12 title game and beating OU will cure a lot of ills but my goodness a huge part of that season showed total ineptitude. The handling of the QBs, the handling of the RBs, a couple inexcusable losses. Etcetera.Nothing for me. Like I said, I agree with some of it.
Don't forget the season before that. Team completely fell apart in 2nd half after Sanders was hurt and we barely squeaked into a bowl game. Followed by a huge chunk of the team leaving. The response was bring in Nardo for D scheme change and do nothing on O.I was very on the fence with Gundy. 3-9 definitely sucked but worse than that was the total lack of accountability not just by him but the team in general. Ultimately I feel good that Gundy is being given a chance to shape up or ship out. It takes away the “what-if” of firing him after just one losing record. He’s put together a much better staff, we seem to be doing as well or better with player acquisition as normal, so it’s a no excuses situation. If it’s another dumpster fire season we will know Gundy isn’t the man for the job.

Which part is in the extreme minority? That’s your opinion and it’s in the extreme minority. No point in debating further, time will tell who was right next year. If you insist on continuing a Gundy bashing tantrum then send me your address and I’ll mail you a binky!
