This right here. As it stands now, not only will it auto extend at the end of the year, but he will automatically get a raise as well. There is no argument that can be made that he has earned a raise.

Take a step back and breathe. I know everyone is really upset now but we are only a year removed from playing for the conference title game. One poor season doesn't erase the last two decades.

The past four season have been a damn 180 swing one direction or the other!!! I loved 2021 and 2023 but am hating 2022 AND ESPECIALLY 2024!!!

Heck last season was a wild swing all its own. The first 4 games were a trainwreck, luckily we played some pretty bad teams the first two or we could have easily started 0-4.The past four season have been a damn 180 swing one direction or the other!!! I loved 2021 and 2023 but am hating 2022 AND ESPECIALLY 2024!!!
Then we had an outstanding 5 game stretch beating 4 of the better teams in the conference and crushing the last place team. Those 4 were close games that could've gone either way but credit to the team for pulling them out.
Then we looked lackluster in the final 3 games, including the absolute ass kicking by middle of the pack UCF and a miracle finish against BYU. We then got housed by ut and beat a massively depleted a&m.
So do we say last year was good coaching or bad coaching, there was plenty of both to go around. Unfortunately, this year is all bad.
Last year goes into the record books as having finished tied for second in the conference and playing Texas in the championship game and yes losing out to them! Whatever the case maybe, those leaders that we brought in through the portal like Josiah Johnson and Anthony Goodlowe, and Leon Johnso, prior to 2023 season, were much better leaders and motivators than the guys we have this year!! That seems TO BE A HUGE FACTOR THIS YEAR IS TOTAL LACK OF TEAM LEADERS!!!

Have you ever been in a locker room or meeting room with him? It’s boring and feels fake. “Play like a tough a**” is all he repeats. That’s not motivating. “Hey guys I’m sry life is hard and we got outcoached and we lost again, life is hard man. Life aint easy. You can’t quit”. This rhetoric is monotone and does not connect with this generation. Look at the difference in JS and DT in wrestling. Kids are enamored with David because he connects. John is much more accomplished than DT but he became distant and monotone also. If changes aren’t made, neither are results

You have my curiosity peaked here! Did you play for him here at OSU! Were you on the equipment or medical support staff thus around the team continuously? Like I said just curious!
