Matt Campbell wouldn't come here. He's been courted by higher profile schools and always stays at ISU. I know we've had more success than ISU, but it's still a lateral move.

I agree it wouldn’t be a high profile move like going to a blue blood that I also feel it’s not a purely lateral move. It’s a slight step up and if we paid him what Gundy made at 7 million a year, it would be a $3 million a year raise for him, almost doubling his base pay so I wouldn’t say there’s zero chance! I think there would have to be some kind of guarantee of NIL revenue support along with the salary for him to consider it. In fact, that goes for anybody we want to try to attract!

Definitely a pattern of comments that hurt the program. Probably not enough for cause but definitely leverage to reduce the buyout. There’s likely more comments coming in the weeks ahead if things continue status quo.

Thank goodness they stopped the auto-renewing contract but it's still going to take time before we can afford that buyout. People have sold everything for years now at live events. If you’ll remember, Holder resisted things others were already capitalizing on.

"Watch out" for what? If he's removed due to performance (which should have happened long ago), then he can yap all he wants and it won't be meaningful. It would reflect very poorly on him, not OSU, and reveal a lot about his character if he were to take that route.
