Despite this past season that sucked beyond belief, there is still talent on the roster provided most of it doesn’t enter the portal and leave. Setting aside rankings which I don’t care about, this class actually looks pretty decent and looks like it addressed major areas of deficiency. If we can combine that with a better than normal NIL/portal influx, I think we could be significantly better next year than this year! I’m not suggesting we will vault back into title contention, but I do think we’ll be better!
Getting a new offensive coordinator and new defensive coordinator is absolutely essential to that outlook. If that does not happen, then throw everything I said out the window. But, if we get new coaching direction, I think we might be in far better shape than it feels like right now!
