Tim Walz Harris VP Pick

Trump goes after Walz

Trump: "She picked a radical left man that is, he has positions that are not even possible to believe that they exist. He is going for things that nobody has even heard of. Heavy into the transgender world. Heavy into lots of different worlds."

Whatever, Democrats and Walz haven't kept Minnesota from being ranked as the 6th best state for business according to CNBC, and the 4th best state to live in according to U. S. News.
FYI. OK is 41 on the business list but TX is #7 and NC is #1. Definitely not a red v blue list.

So, Oklahoma Republicans, including Gov. Stitt need to learn how red states get to top ten status for being great. Ryan Walters from commenting before that Oklahoma ought to be more like no. 49 Arizona for education isn't how it's done.

> 100 Jewish leaders in MN endorse timwalz, calling him a “strong, compassionate leader” w/ “a long record of friendship w/ both his Jewish constituents & the state of Israel.”

From advocating 4 Holocaust ed to condemning Hamas's attacks, Walz's commitment to Jewish values is unmatched. “The rest of the country will soon get to know the leader we’ve come to know.”

Jewish leaders in MN are making it clear: America, w/ Walz, we have a VP who truly understands & supports the Jewish community.

Let’s set the record straight. I was in the room when Donald Trump crashed the weekly Governors meeting led by Mike Pence. Trump praised Tim Walz's handling of the protests in 2020.
It was also the same day that Trump: talked about wanting to shoot the protestors, directed law enforcement to violently clear Lafayette Square & stood in front of St. John's Church holding a bible. It was one of the darkest days of the Trump Presidency & a clear sign of what was to come. Facts matter.

Tim Walz enlisted and spent nearly 25 yrs in enlisted service.

He was 39 ish in 2003-2004 when he served oversees in Italy. He and his wife had been dreaming and praying for a family. Through the miracle of IVF their daughter was born in January of 2001. She was 2 when he deployed.

We should all just say “thank you Tim” and STH up.

He did way more for our country than I ever did or will and he did it while sacrificing his family.

We should also thank JV and leave it at that.

There are great things about the military but it can be hard on a family. And, the idea that someone that gave 25 years owes more than what the army requires is absurd.

I had 14 years in. Deployed and returned to my daughter walking and talking and not knowing who the hell I was. I was the director of an ER hiring civilian PAs fresh out of school making more than I was as a physician and the director. I knew more deployments were coming. My wife was sick of it. And, I got a civilian job offer that tripled my income for far less work hours. I guess I'm as lousy of a troop as Tim Waltz because I decided to get out too.

I was a lousy sailor too, abandoned my country instead of staying in and facing more deployments that I knew were coming.

Everyone serving between 2001 and 2017 or later was looking at lots of deployments in their future. So by their logic anyone that got out was abandoning the country blah blah blah. Wait, didn't Vance also get out during that time..?

If Walz was afraid of battle he would have tried to get out after 9/11 and certainly in 2002 and 2003 when President Bush was stressing about the need to go to war against Iraq and Hussein. It's a disgrace how Republicans are attacking Walz. His long conduct in the National Guard didn't keep him from being elected congressman several times and later governor of Minnesota.
