I get the whole "play the younger kids they are our future" idea but we are coming off of a bad year (by our standards) and we have a soft schedule that we need to take advantage of and win 9 games, another 7-6 type of year and I worry that we will start to slip into oblivion. That said, I don't care who plays qb and even though he didn't look great I have a hard time believing that Bowman doesn't give us the best chance to win as many games as possible

Gundy loves to play mind games. It is honestly a lot of the reason why he gets so much crap from the media IMHO. I don't think he wants to keep this going forever. In fact, I think he might have already decided on a starter (or recused himself from it with Gunnar). I'm gonna say we see the actual starter begin the game tomorrow night. If we are in control he subs in the others to keep the charade going. If it is close or we are behind he sticks with his man.

It is past time to make a decision. Continuing this rotation is sacrificing valuable practice reps and continuity as a starting unit.

For me, Bowman is the first out of the race. With even just a mediocre Oline, he’d probably be the best option. Unfortunately this veteran Oline is miserably bad, and Bowman not having the ability to move around puts him at the biggest disadvantage.

That leaves Gunnar and Rangel. Gunnar has the best point production after the two games so maybe the slight edge. Arguments could easily be made for Rangel as well. Just start one for S. Alabama, if the offense is stagnant, then give the other a shot to provide a spark.

I re-watched every offensive snap. I think I'm leaning towards Bowman but I could get behind Rangel.

Gundy is clear number 3 for me. He has the least pocket presence and only throws to his first read. His stats are really good though so I'm glad he's on our team.
