I agree with you for the most part, & understand the OSU angle.

There’s no way that ASU & Boise just deserve a bye and an automatic top 4 seed though. Nobody who’s watched anything thinks they’re top 4, which is what this is.

How do you know? Eye test? I wouldn't want to play ASU right now. They have as good or better QB/RB duo as anyone in the field. And Boise woulda/shoulda/coulda beaten Oregon at Oregon. The fact is that there is a lot of mediocrity out there. F parity. This is mediocrity. And it's going to continue.

I don't think the 12 best teams are in the playoff field, but don't finish third in your conference and gripe about not being in the playoffs.

And I don't think Bama is one of the 12 best teams. But hey, you're an SEC guy.

It's pretty simple, if you want to make the playoffs, don't lose to a .500 team in the last 2 weeks of the season. Heck not losing 3 games is a good place to start as well. I'm glad they didn't put any 3 loss teams in and hopefully that is a trend that continues. Heck Miami has a better argument to be in than bama does.

Tend to agree but the structure he’s asking for-modeled more like an NFL organization might work.

If real, they just sentenced Marshall to their own death penalty. No coach and zero players .
