Not buying out this game may have been one of programs dumbest moves and biggest setbacks. The halftime show was 20 minutes of just laughing at us.

The best thing we did was the 15 play drive feeding Howland. Hauss is the only one that has comparable speed to Oregon so that additional option running the ball would have been nice to have. Had heard that Zane could run be he looks slow, and really isn’t providing that threat. Not sure what you were watching last week or what you have against Hauss but nothing indicated he would have been throwing INTs.

Regardless though, this is all on the defense. Offense has been sloppy, but D hasn’t even given us a chance.

I have nothing against Hauss. He just played like a freshman last week, so did Zane. Where Zane was overly cautious, Hauss was a little frantic and kind of throwing the ball up for grabs. I mean, he was 5-10 against an FCS team and bailed out by PI twice.

I do think he'll be awesome, but he's a super athletic gunslinger and that comes with a lot of risk against a team this good. Can't wait to see him in Big 12 play.

5-7 in 2 drives for 14 points, looked pretty darn good and made an FCS team look like FCS. Bailed out by PI? Maybe he has 2 more completions without those PIs. They were good throws.
