I refuse to take anything like this even remotely serious.
Haha. I'd read that as UCF was offering Gundy the HC job and that would get us out of his contract so Lucky us. This makes way more sense than my reading.
You talking about malzahn. What college coach in the State of Florida resigned this past weekend? What University in Florida is looking for a football coach who also happens to be in the Big XII and if the rumor is true, I say IF, reached out to a certain HC in Stillwater, Oklahoma even though that Coach probably wouldn’t really consider it but you never know!!!
He can't win big games. They'd never hire a coach known to lose the rivalry game every year and not win conf championships. That’s the way I read it. I think there’s a better chance of Gundy going to tOSU after they fire Day.
Ben Arbuckle from Washington State

Serves 'em right.Watching their fans base riot over it would be hilarious though.
Ohio State fans: We really want someone who can put Michigan in the dust. How did Gundy do in big games like that?
Us:
They’ll never find anyone who can do a better mean mug than Day & his dyed beard.Serves 'em right.
So while everybody else is already acting and making changes to get better, we are just starting to talk about it and evidently plan to talk all week. Only reason I can think of to talk instead of act and that is that Gundy doesn't want to make changes.
I doubt it. I think we legitimately have a bunch of "aww, shucks...." leaders at the highest levels of OSU, including Gundy himself. It's almost like they are collectively in over their heads or stuck in a mindset from 30 years ago.Probably incorrect, but I had a thought this morning. Maybe the hold up is because of negotiations. Maybe Gundy is negotiating an exit that allows him to resign/retire but still get some of his buyout. Just a thought.
If Gundy is meeting with the BOR, like mentioned earlier, I can tell you that's not the case.I doubt it. If Dunn is named assistant HC I will officially be done with OSU footballWillie Foosball is partially correct! Dunn will be asked to give up play calling duties but will be named Assistant Head Coach and continue coaching wide receivers which he is VERY GOOD AT! Just have to see if he accepts that or not! Nardo is GONE!
He already has been for quite a few years. If Dunn is named assistant HC I will officially be done with OSU football
If Dunn is named assistant HC I will officially be Dunn with OSU football
That’s exactly what is happening but it doesn’t feed the mob with their torches and pitchforks. They want blood and it’s understandable. Why don't we look at Gundy's history for a little context on why no information yet. He has always preferred to give guys he is letting go a chance to find a new job instead of just announcing they are being fired. He has also preferred to just announce the new coach, and subtly in the small print mention who that coach is replacing. It is a way to not rake the coaches being let go over the coals. Right or wrong this is the way he has done things in the past. So much so that many think he has never fired a coach, he has, it just was done as a "they got a new job" thing. So with that in mind we are probably waiting on some of the new coaches to sign on before announcements. For the coaches we want those things take time and BOR approvals.
Wonderful. This means, if we're going after a good coach on good bowl bound team we'll be waiting a while. That’s exactly what is happening but it doesn’t feed the mob with their torches and pitchforks. They want blood and it’s understandable.
