We need them both. I just keep thinking of that hit Robinson endured against Tech. A mobile QB is a blessing and a curse.

I hope he’s as good as you say, but I don’t think anyone is bringing up unreasonable questions about a young QB here.

It’s not unreasonable to question him but he is better than most would give credit. His speed alone will make up for a lot and create problems for defenses. He doesn’t have to be a marksmen with his ability to keep the defense honest

What exactly are you talking about? People are just discussing a QB who they haven’t seen play with this team. Guess I’m missing the giving credit part?

I think it's more likely that Zane and Hauss are still in a dead heat. Zane gets to be 1st on the depth chart and Hauss gets the first series of the game.
Hopefully Hauss really is almost as good as JW and Zane is still good enough to stay with him.

There seem to be a lot thinking Zane is better and if he is great but i think Hauss offers a better fit for what our team needs. I hope both do great

I think Zane is better overall but Hauss is what the line needs until they get used to playing together, building a chemistry.

Glad I’m not the only one that found that weird. JW panned out to be a guy who got used in situations, not a program leading QB.

Rangel started the first game when we did the 3 QB rotation. I'm not reading to much into who goes on the field first in this game.

Yeah, I remember the injury.

I also remember how highly touted he was as a recruit, and my summation of his career is spot on. Certainly not a bad kid or anything, but a strange choice to point out and say you hope the new QB is as good as him.

I would take the 2015 JW. 67% complete 13 td's to 1 int and 9.3 ypa. Add 4.7 ypc and we could only hope for that right now.
