2022-2023 Off-Season

How is Osu going to run the new big 12 if they have the lowest recruiting budget in the conference? Hopefully they invest more than houston, ucf, cincy and byu.

I never claimed to care. I just had this impression that Osu would easily take the conference when OU left but there’s just things like this that don’t give me that strong impression anymore. This kind of thing catches up to you
Got it. I too spend time both on the internet, and in person even, posting/talking about things I don’t care about.

That's pretty cool stuff. Thank you.

How has all that recruiting budget helped Texas?

It hasnt helped them win the conference, or playoff or national championship games.
But neither is having one of the lowest p5 budgets for recruiting. Then again Georgia outspends everyone in recruiting.

I just thought two recruiting heavyweights leaving would open doors for them if they show a willingness to invest in recruiting.

I guess the question is, why do we spend so little compared to everyone else? Seems like we'd give Gundy the money he needs to recruit better. Is he not asking for it?

Interesting take. My understanding from the OP years was that the reason we can't compete with the big dogs is due to our limited recruiting budget. Increase that single number, and we win more games (so they claimed). Are you saying that recruiting budgets aren't important?

Oh we’re repeating things. Ok, I’ll go. Why do you care? Logically irrelevant to you in every way possible.

Which team’s board will you run to after you guys leave? Assuming Vandy becomes your new superiority complex target? Maybe the Mississippi’s, Mizzou? Id actually follow you to see how the schtick works out and their responses. Honestly think it would be hilarious no malice intended.

Just saying it’s not the only factor. A Texas fan could in wonder why they spend 6 times more and have a losing record against OSU in the same time period

How's the ROI working out for the two so called weights?
