2022-2023 Off-Season

I don't think it will be. The offense has been sold out to Run Pass QB with limited accuracy. It can't help but improve if we use the TE
We hardly ever throw to a TE; Jelani Woods being a prime example--mismatch nightmare, and he hardly ever got a chance to make a catch.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be positive or hopeful.
Positivity is great, and hopefully we revamp things, but we're going into Dunn's fourth season as OC, and so far I haven't seen anything from him (and Gundy) that makes me think much is going to change. Hope I'm wrong.

Our run game will be better and overall more physical. I’ll eat my crow if not. Jury out for QB/passing game. I really like the WR core put together. Shettron and Bray have NFL bodies. Just gotta put it all together.

I will hold judgment until he has a qb
I have never been one to believe in some of the hard limits Gundy has put on players over the years, because I think he holds us back a lot by being a fatalist about that. But after last season, it really begs the question if SS really was just THAT limited. Still doesn't explain the random games where we'd sling it all over the place, mix up play calling, and attack the field, then suddenly go into a shell after gaining a lead. That is definitely suspect. But I think SS had a hand in limiting what we could do.

Maybe so, but spread the ball out more and be more dynamic. Use more of the field and spread the ball around to different guys with the sole purpose of getting them live game reps.

That said, our OL was absolutely terrible, and our QB had apparent hard limits on play calling, recognition, and audibles. Surely we can improve in those areas at a minimum, right?
I'm expecting improvement. I think having a "dynamic" offense is less about scheme and more about execution and talent.

It's my opinion that even the best scheme will fail if your OL is weak. Whether by injuries, coaching or any other factor. (Air raid was the exception but Ds have figured it out for the most part)

Our offense is and has always been based on balance and exploiting what the D does. I'm glad to see we're trying something new to establish a run game and regain that balance. I'm not sure if it will work or not but I'm definitely hopeful. If we can just get teams to have to play us straight up, our WR talent should shine.

It will be very interesting to see how we do with a new QB contrasted with how SS plays under a new system. Should answer some questions. No doubt Spencer is one of the most physically gifted QBs around but he barely progressed from HS through his last game here. I guess we'll see if that was him or us.

Sanders giveth and he taketh away. A little more steady if not spectacular QB performance will be better for my heart.

Probably shows why he wasn't super highly recruited by the big schools even though he was one of the better players in Texas.

I wanted to say something but every attempt was too derogatory. A Dead Head after six months on the road in a microbus eating granola washed down with homemade hooch was about as nice as I could come up with.
How did I do?
