At the meeting, Dahm said the constitution allows freedom of religion not freedom from religion. He surely believes a public-school teacher after dreaming that God commanded her to start the mornings out holding church services in her classroom until all students are saved under Jesus could actually do it. Dahm would surely say the 1st Amendment gives teacher the right to do that. The school would have no right to fire the teacher. To get her to stop, the school could offer transfers to students who don't want to be saved. Such students would probably be subject to bullying.

Dahm referred to the promoter of the Blaine Amendment as a Democrat. Instead, Blaine was actually a Republican Congressman. When you base your assumptions on your narrative of what Democrats are supposed to be like, you could end up wrong.

When I went through teacher training this was considered to be a part of the job. Of course we were also told not to drink in town and be a moral figure.
