From my experience, this isn't a denomination thing, and I'd hesitate to really put stock in that info. The extreme right has hijacked a LOT Christian and quasi-Christian circles across all denominations. The commonality appears to mostly be who live in fear, and seek security from an external power, and instead of placing such faith in God, they have been tricked into placing that faith in worldly powers or people. It is undeniably idolatry, and they can't see it.

It was a Baptist Church in Texas. I think some of them still attend there but I know others have gone to other churches. Not sure the denominations but they seem pretty non-denominational.
