Gotta say, the playoff has been fun to watch. They'll make some tweaks in the next few years but it's going to be lucrative.
The second half last night is bar none of the most enjoyable halves of college football I’ve ever watched.
And this game isn’t disappointing.
Why do all these college teams insist on dropping into shotgun when you need one freaking yard? Philadelphia has made a killing in the NFL (and now they’re considering a rule change because of the tush push) but every college team goes backwards 5 yards in shotgun

I think Jim Knowles enjoyed his time in Stillwater, but I don't know that equal or even slightly more money than tOSU keeps him. I think Jim recognized that the 2021 OK State defense was the one to vault him from being a really good defensive coordinator to an elite defensive coordinator. Getting that extra year from Malcolm and other good defensive players may have driven him to work even harder to get that defense to where it was.
