This news is shocking.
I didn't realize we had both an offensive coordinator and a defensive coordinator on the staff all year.
I assumed it was just Gundy playing at Heisman level on EA College Football 24 before he was ready.

I worked in the KD cafeteria kitchen in spring '92. Worked a four hour breakfast shift then went straight to calculus. I had to take calculus again because I was always falling asleepWorked in the KD cafeteria when it was all you could eat for one meal swipe. The days we would serve chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy-unreal! Those kids would clean the kitchen out.
And the ladies that served on the food lines-a Saturday Night Live skit!

NCAA actually gave him 2 more years of eligibility to save some paperwork next year. Once he’s completed his 9th year he will take over Gundy’s position as head coach. Bowman agreed to just under $7mil/year so that OSU has an extra $1mil for NIL purposes.
Honestly, I looked I thought about the things that break my heart as an OSU fan. Big plays and failure to stop the other team on 3rd down were the top 2. The others are sort of a byproduct of that. YPP is an overall metric, 3rd down is our ability to stop them when we need it most, 1st down and punt is our ability to keep the other team from getting in an offensive rhythm and give our defense time to rest.
