Exactly this. And I think that's why we will see coaching staff have less and less of an impact on recruiting as things go forward. A well run FO will beat big name coaches any day of the week.
Prime example of this is the Washington Redskins in 2013. STACKED coaching staff. Went 3-13 and only had one winning season under Shanahan and 2 under Gruden. Never winning more than 10 games. That staff produced 5 current NFL head coaches and a DC.
