It is the new world of NIL. Don't blame him either.
He has proven he can be WR1 at a major college level. He will most likely demand a good 1-year payday. NFL is not a given, but being able to receive good compensation for his last year is very understandable.
Hopefully the dinosaur is wrapping his head around this concept, otherwise we’re f”cked

Honestly, I thought he was off to the NFL.
He finished this miserable season so I don't fault him. Maybe, just maybe, the OC will be a good hire and he'll want to stay.

I'll gladly see him walk (just like he did on half his defensive snaps) as a trade-off to retain our Kaak and/or Stribling
He is the second guy offered from Elon. That goes along with offers to players from NW Missouri St., Grand Valley State, and Saginaw Valley State.

I mean that's kind of the point of going to these types of school if you really want to play D1 football. Get enough film that you can transfer to a D1 school. Lot of underscouted talent in these schools.
Nelson was kicked off the team, so I'm not sure he should count against the total.
I will make an edit to reflect that.
My concern is an increased focus on flipping high 3 & 4 star guys. The pattern seems pretty clear that these guys aren’t just going to sign & sit for a year or two.
