One of the few highlights of last season was watching Kaak go off.

Auburn special teams suck though, so they are gonna get Kaak blocked.

I don’t know the answer and this isn’t a gotcha question.

I’m guessing Strib will get north of $750,000 which is approaching what we paid Ollie this yr. I think Strib will play in the NFL one day.

Given our NIL woes and how this yr played out. Do you pay Strib what his value slot is or do you use his value and play money ball for more players?

Very similar in size to Nick Martin.

Also, I’ve read some reports that he’s a projected late round pick. Good job by the staff finding talent that can be an immediate impact. I’m still holding out hope that we can land the Lb from Grambling State to go alongside this kid. Would be big time!

I’d play moneyball. Strib is good, but with Lofton, Shettron, Ford, Shoto, and some other guys i think we’ll be fine at WR
 
We have to either get Strib back or land 1-2 veteran portal WR’s. Like Cptn stated above, we have a lot of talented WR’s but not proven just yet. Need some veterans that have produced.

Agree, there’s no shortage of really talented WRs, even at lower levels. With limited NIL funds, I wouldn’t invest a significant portion in one guy at the WR position unless he’s Justin Blackmon, and we’ve seen Strib, he’s a really good receiver but he’s not that.

Shettron, Lofton, Shotomide-King, Freeman, Tykie Andrews are back and we have 4 freshman coming in. WR is a position freshman can produce immediately. If we can add 1-2 out of the portal that don’t break the bank, we should be in good shape. With the spread that Meacham is going to run, it should be attractive for WRs.
 
There's only one thing a portal QB could offer that the QBs already on our roster couldn't after a year of development and a functioning offensive system, and that's experience. We don't need experience next year, as we'll have very little on it as it is. I would rather develop one of the young talents already on our roster than pay for a one year rental.
