There is no evidence that Ukraine is stop one on a broader invasion. The restraint Russia has shown for 3 years points strongly to the contrary. They have the weapons and the army to roll over Ukraine in no time. If this were to set up ww3 they sure have spent a lot of resources they didn’t have to before moving on. And, are you trying to say that Russia is bogged down in a war for three years and all the brand-new troops they have been pulling in and getting killed are just to save the real war machine and they could just roll Ukraine any day? Why, if that is the case, did they try to roll over Ukraine at the beginning then pull back? Just changed their mind at that point and decided they liked WW1 style trench warfare better than just getting it overwith? That makes absolutely no sense.

I'm sure it'll ne much better when Trump fires every experienced Flag officer we have because they serve the constitution vs his whims. That'll do wonders for our abilities.

The other option is troops in conflict. I'm confused now, is that what you want. We are supporting allies without being directly involved.
