Was focused on other things but seems our offensive performance was significantly better tonight. Have to keep it going into tomorrow and take the series though or it will all be for naught.

The best move of the night was getting the dead weight (Bruggeman and Wulfert) out of the heart of the lineup and the offense responded putting together hits. 7 and 8 is really where they should be. As soon as possible, Bruggeman needs to take a seat. His AB’s are horrendous and Wulfert aren’t much better. It was a fun night at the ball yard.

I agree completely. And in this case it should’ve happened 2+ weeks ago. We’ve seen this several times over the years and leads me to believe the problem is Josh doesn’t like to admit that he made a mistake in the lineup.

Game notes say Keisel, but TH noted that late in the game, Gabe Davis wasn't warming up in the pen when others were. FWIW
