Mike Gundy son's comments

I know its been a little while since Gundy's son made some comments protecting his father. This was after the Oregon loss. “Imagine being this pathetic,” Gundy declared via On3. “You will never understand the size of balls it takes to do what he does… and how Oklahoma State would be completely irrelevant without him. So you can sit there and tweet all you want, but you will never know what it takes to be successful in life.” This was his son Gavin Gundy, and this was said against Pistols Firings Carson Cunnigham.
Thoughts on the matter?

At some point in everyone's career it is time to leave.

That’s the son who went to Arky, right? He is just sucking up to Daddy.

He probably should have kept his mouth shut. At any rate, not sure what else he could say. Would he have agreed with Cunningham? Highly doubtful.

We really have a lot of bad alumni pundits--ones that don't even like OSU. Does every school have this problem?

Im guessing it's limited to relatively few programs. Im guessing with a lot of these guys it was implied that they needed to "be impartial" if they wanted to continue to be employed in local media. None of them have the talent of Doug or Dusty to overcome the local thing so they chose the paycheck. There aren't many big state schools in that position (other state school just sucks the media oxygen out of the air).
