And this is exactly why preseason rankings are dumb af. It's impossible to tell anything about a team until minimum 3 weeks in. Want evidence? The 2021 OSU Cowboys unranked preseason won their first 3 games by a COMBINED 13 points. Had a legit chance of losing to MO State, was a missed FG away from losing to Boise. Yet ended up a legit playoff contender. Nobody knows anything this early.
