2023 Recruiting Class

Does anyone follow baseball recruiting much and have any insight on key pieces of the class? Seeing we have 13 high school guys for this class and don’t see any Top 100 players so would think we don’t have any draft casualties. Currently ranked 58th in the country according to Perfect Game.

What resource do you all use to find the complete class including JUCO guys?

Perfect game is definitely the best outlet for recruiting. Baseball American is a good source. If you want to find the JUCO commits, you have alter your search via high school graduating class.

For example Max Galvin is a JUCO OF committed to the cowboys.
- If you search for cowboy commits in the 2021 class, he's listed there along with Xavier Casserilla. It's weird, but that's how you can find JUCO players.

In terms of potential draft casualties, Avery Ortiz and Donovan Lasalle are two of the potential candidates. Maxwell knight, two way player is also a potential candidate. Lasalle has had a really good senior year and has had scouts repeatedly at his games.
