The Jackrabbits are 8-7 and have some nice wins over Purdue and Central Arkansas. Their pitcher was Summit League pitcher of the week last week. They have not been run ruled this year, including two games vs #11 Mizzou.

Bloodworth is hitting around .170 and is hitless for last 8 games. She needs to start trying to draw walks and move runners instead of all of the pop outs and lazy fly outs. It's still early, so maybe she'll turn it around.

She hit the last three balls well, which is a good sign. The teams we want to beat don't have that big hole in their lineup. She can still find ways to get on base without hitting for a high average. Maybe this was a good start for her.
