I understand he can use the remaining 5 scholarships however he wants; I am just curious how other posters think that will break down positionally.
It depends really. Is he trying to play positionless basketball? It's a tough answer really.
I would expect 4-5 out of the 13 players to be PF/C types. They have to have someone to practice against.
We seem to get PF's and try to play them as C's. I'll list who we had as PF/C

Thanks for that info. HCSL has said he'll play a motion offense. Hasn't he implied it'll be sort of positionless? That's what the Thunder say of their offense. Our tallest guys are two new guys at 6'7" and two holdovers at 6'6". So do we need at least two guys taller than that? Three? More?

Yes, 6-9 or 6-10, or if shorter, some bulk, a la Marshall Moses. I've seen his height listed on different sites as 6-6 (which is probably right), 6-7 and 6-8, weight from 230 to 255 (closer to right).
Loved watching Marshall Moses play.
I’ve gotten to know MM in that last 5 years, what a superb guy. Ended up hooking up with two other former bball players and Richetti Jones just by running into Marshal at the gym.

I am really hoping we can land Wesley Yates from Washington. Seems like he would be our most impactful transfer pickup to this point. As far as I have been able to tell, his only visits have been to OSU and Louisville.
Came across an article from 2 days ago that lists him as the top available scorer/creator in the portal. Here is the excerpt:
"SCORER/CREATOR
1. Wesley Yates, from Washington: An injury kept Yates out of the lineup as a freshman at Washington, but the former prized recruit was billed as a big-time, creative bucket-getter in high school. He might need time, but there's a lot of upside with potential addition."

I was in school same time as him, passed him on campus a time or two. Imposing figure is putting it lightly. Dude was BUILT.
I think you’re really gonna love the defense of Davis and Dean. Davis was all defensive first team in the SEC last year and Dean led the ncaa in steals. With Keller in the rotation our guards should be really strong on the defensive end next year.

This seems almost harmful to OSU Athletics recruiting. Whether true or not, if the player doesn't want something made public, you don't do it. And you definitely don't call them a liar in order to claim you were right all along. Things like this may make future recruits second guess coming here.
Who do you think it is? I'm leaning towards Yates.
