Absolutely true. But the turnovers are also a big issue. I believe WVU had 15 points of turnovers in the first half. The guards have 8 of the 11 turnovers in the first half. Boynton has to hold his guards accountable for all their turnovers. His teams will never be anything above average until he does.

The real Boynton showed up tonight. The tourney tease was nice while it lasted but the clock struck midnight. We will move on in another five years and have new hope.

This has been Bryce Thompson's chance to step up and take over this team. He hasn't. He had one good half against Kansas, then disappeared. He's 2-8 tonight. More evidence that Boynton doesn't know how to make him better, as is the case with most of his players.
