The only thing that is making me somewhat happy is knowing that people like you will suffer just like the rest of us. Your groceries and gas are going to skyrocket. You are not going to get any trickle down from the mega rich. Rural areas will suffer the worst, and I will get "We told you so" tattooed on my forehead.
Don't worry about the tattoo. They'll give you one of those when you enter the camp. And that's exactly what it will say.

As far as abortion rights are concerned women in your life should live in states where abortion rights are in the state constitution. Missouri which often turns thumb down to doing how Republicans want them to vote on state questions now has abortion rights. The ban was repealed. Missouri citizens are pretty cool for not letting Republicans tell them what to do. Also approved was raising the min. wage to $15 in 2026. In the past, Missouri approved legal rec marijuana, rejected right to work, and accepted extended Medicaid, passing it by a wider margin than when Oklahoma did.

And you'll find the local Guarda who have been drinking for free ready and willing to throw your MAGA asses right in Kilmainham Gaol....or the functional equivalent since Kilmainham is now a museum.
We have a common interest. I too will live in another country — maybe even as early as 2026. But it has nothing to do with politics. Just my wife and I want to spend some time of my life living in Italy and traveling abroad while we are young enough (or more precisely…not too old) to enjoy it.
