How do we just turn off Medicaid?
They didn't. The portal went down.

Some states reported on Tuesday that they were unable to tap federal Medicaid funds, even as the White House sent a memo to Capitol Hill saying that programs such as Medicaid would continue without pause. About an hour after the briefing ended, Leavitt posted on X that the “White House is aware of the Medicaid website portal outage.” She said no payments have been affected and that it should be “back online shortly.”

The man is doing things he is not Constitutionally charged with do him.

I wonder what the immigration rules of New Zealand is. Seems so peaceful down there.

How does he have a 50% approval rating? Who is happy about all this crap?
well, when you look at party differences...one poll I looked at showed approval % at 13% Dems, 40% Ind, and 79% Reps...disapprove: 85% dems, 50% Ind, and 19% Reps...but yeah, shocking that it´s even at 50%...people are still pissed at the economy (they don´t realize it was trending up?!) and grocery and gas prices...it´s OK to $h!t on humans and discriminate against as long as we get the border under control and I can buy eggs...

Making it hard for people (mandatory in office) and now offering a large severance package. Yes. He is very serious about shrinking fed employment
The post office did something similar to that for mail sorters in 2009 and again in 2013. They got $15,000 bonuses for retiring early. Advances in automation were making their jobs obsolete. It likely simply reflects that other federal jobs are becoming obsolete with many more to come from AI.

If you can do your job 100% from home, there is a good chance AI will take your place in the next decade. Same goes for a lot of office work.

I think most kids in college right now would do best to drop out, go to trade school, and become electricians. Its going to get wild.
