Trump 2024 Run Thread

So fire all the generals in the military and replace them with ones loyal to him ? The very thing Hitler did 35 times from 1933 to 1944. Fire German Generals and replace them with ones loyal to him

Trump said he would do this ..this weekend..he spoke the words he would FIRE US General's and replace them with generals NOT LOYAL TO THE US, NOT LOYAL TO THE CONSTITUTION , BUT ONLY LOYAL TO HIM

who here supports this ?! Who here will sit quietly while he says these things !!??

How can you vote for anyone who has said these things and promised this ?

Trump’s ex-attorney Joe Tacopina strongly pushed back against claims that Trump’s hush money case was a result of the “weaponization” of the justice system.

“This is a state case. This is different than the Jack Smith cases, OK? This is not a federal prosecution. Joe Biden or anyone from his Justice Department have absolutely zero to do with the Manhattan district attorney’s office. They have no jurisdiction over him. They have no contacts with him. They have no control over him.”

Never saw the quote about weaponization in the article.

I think most people who don’t lean to the extreme realize Biden wasn’t involved. They also respect the jury decision.
But also understand Trump was charged with an activity that no one else gets convicted for by a DA who was politically motivated.
Which is basically what it appears he was saying.

No one ever gets convicted of the same crime ??

The Table below provides full details of many examples of cases we identified in the survey. A sample of representative precedents includes:

The People of the State of New York v. Josue Aguilar Dubon, AKA Saady Dubon, AKA Alejandro Ortiz (October 2022) — Bronx business owner indicted for failing to report over $1 million in income, avoiding paying $60,000 in taxes.
The People of the State of New York v. Scott Kirtland (February 2022) — Insurance broker indicted for allegedly creating/filing fraudulent certificates of liability insurance to further scheme to defraud.
The People of the State of New York v. James Garner (November 2021) — Mental health therapy aide indicted for allegedly defrauding over $35,000 in workers’ compensation benefits.
The People of the State of New York v. Jose Palmer (November 2016) — Pleaded guilty to petit larceny for unemployment benefits fraud of over $3,000, having initially been indicted for grand larceny and falsifying business records in the first degree.
The People of the State of New York v. Jason Holley (November 2016) — Convicted by jury of falsifying business records in the first degree but acquitted of the predicate crime, insurance fraud.
The People of the State of New York v. Christina Murray (May 2015) & People v. Terrel Murray (May 2014) — Married couple convicted of house fire insurance claim, attempting to recover the cash value of various items of property that were ostensibly lost in the fire.
The People of the State of New York v. Barbara A. Freeland (June 2013) — Convicted for falsely claiming on a food stamps application that a young adult lived with her.
The People of the State of New York v. Maria F. Ramirez (August 2010) — Convicted for returning unpurchased items to a store in exchange for store credit, thus causing a false entry in a business record of an enterprise, and using the store credit to purchase additional items one day.

But also understand Trump was charged with an activity that no one else gets convicted for by a DA
New York State Has Issued Nearly 9,800 Felony Charges of Falsifying Business Records Since 2015

What do you mean that Trump was charged with an activity that no one else gets convicted for? The activity of falsifying a business record to cover up a payment to a porn star I would agree he is probably the only one. But, "falsifying business records" seems to be fairly commonly prosecuted crime in NY.

You answered your question with your 2nd sentence.
Ok.

If I stole a piece of jewelry that was a diamond necklace with the diamonds arranged in the shape of the Burger King logo, there is probably little chance that someone else was prosecuted for that exact same crime. But, so what? It is still the common crime of theft.

What? That is just a cop out reply. I really don't understand why you think his particular falsification is different than the others that are prosecuted. But, whatever, I should have known better. Can't handle simply dialogue, always just turn to some sort of insult.
Yes, it was insulting comparing you to that poster, but your reply was silly.. and you knew that. When you lose even the CNN legal analyst (attached) …
