Well, that sucks. I didn’t read the article, but I knew they were rightfully upset with the Harris campaign after they were denied a voice at the DNC convention. But this approach seems like cutting their noses off to spite their face.

A Bogus New Rationale For Trump's Economic Agenda
His allies now claim that he wouldn’t really impose massive global tariffs if elected. But the uncertainty created by threats is bad enough.
Tariffs don't work well to push US policy and trade preferences on other countries and simply threatening them has negative impacts.
Additionally, a 1% increase in Trump-era foreign retaliation tariffs has been shown to decrease US export by nearly 4%. So the tariffs plan will cut off the US from imports due to direct impact and exports due to the retaliation response.
It's just insane amounts of racism coming from the Trump camp in the closing weeks.
