Pokes win 80-74. Pokes lead wire to wire. Considering how hot Miami was in the second half it was a great effort from the Pokes. Definitely the most complete game all season.

Too close at the end, but we didn't let it get to a one possession game, which is what we've usually done in past years.

Nice win against a good coach. Jim Larrañaga has been doing this since Honest Abe was a power forward at Illinois.

Absolutely. It's still obviously rough because new coach and new players but they play extremely hard. Defensive effort harkens back to the days of Sutton. If the offense can be what we saw today the Pokes will surprise some people. Most important stats to get you back into OSU basketball: 16-21 (76.2%) from the FT line and only 8 turnovers
