All this kind of reminds me of the substitution teacher I had in 6th grade science. That lady....well all I can say is she had a way different view about the age of the planet than the textbook.
 
Tulsan Born guy, went to Owasso and Tulsa Public Schools and OSU in the 90s and live out of state now.

I have people that know I'm from Oklahoma and ask me about him and I don't know what to say. He causes a brain drain. He's weird and outspoken, and would be better served being a preacher and staying out of public education.

You can be a republican without being weird. I know plenty of Conservatives that are normal people.

He's clown shoes.

I'll also wager, he's doing some closeted freak off stuff. Hopefully, everything is of consensual age groups.

I know you are aware, but there are people that watch this edited clip and don’t take it in context because they don’t take the time to learn on their own and step outside their limited news bubble. Yes, idiocracy.

He even specified in the sentence before that clip started he was being insincere and glib.

"Insincere and glib" is also called inappropriate when in that position and talking about people's careers.
If I said publicly, "If Vivek is having a heart attack and comes in my ER, I'm gonna just let him lay there" that is inappropriate even if I add, "Nah, I'm just being glib."

This simply is not a joking matter with what they are talking about doing to people's lives.

Fair enough. No argument that eliminating jobs greatly affects people’s lives and not proper to joke about livelihood.

My point was that the clip you showed is being paraded around social media like Vivek was truly stating that utilizing SSN# was a potential plan for resource elimination. And too many believe only the media they consume instead of taking just a smidge of time to learn truth.

He said it on video and at a separate time wrote it as a tweet with no "haha, just kidding." IMHO, he is truly stating this as his personal opinion, but more reasonable and intelligent leaders are telling him that he needs to make it a "haha." And calling all federal employees "bureaucrats" is insulting and ignorant of reality.

The problem isn’t that some people don’t look further into it to try to decipher whether to take him at face value or hope that he is being insincere and glib.

The problem is he is being insincere and glib about something of such importance (which is plenty bad enough) or he’s floating trial balloons of which he might be serious about, but can fall back on “glib and insincere” if it doesn’t get a positive reaction.

It’s deliberately inserts doubt about whether or not he is being serious about very serious matters.

More of that “take him seriously, but don’t take him literally” grifter BS.

Ryan Walters calls on Biden administration to reimburse state for illegal immigration, DEI costs koco

State Superintendent Ryan Walters demanded that the Biden administration reimburse Oklahoma taxpayers for policies he said cost hundreds of millions of dollars.

Walters said the state should be reimbursed for money spent on illegal immigration and diversity, equity and inclusion programs.

The state superintendent said illegal immigrants have been a burden to taxpayers, costing them more than $450 million.

He also said the federal government wasted hundreds of millions of dollars on education programs focused on DEI.

Walters called on the Biden administration to shut down DEI programs and reimburse Oklahoma schools for the cost of education immigrants who are non-citizens.

"Those are dollars that could have been spent on a lot of different things. You look at teacher pay. You look at tutoring. Again, we've launched the largest tutoring program in state history. Well, that would have been a lot of money that could have been used for those things, as well, and so the state bore the cost of a policy the Biden administration knew the states were incurring," Walters said.
