A family friend played for him a few years ago, he did not have good things to say...basically that Josh has his guys and nothing the other guys will do can break that. Also that he and Walton both try to teach hitting but they don't teach the same message. But, he also didn't get to play so he is a little bitter.

If this is true how does Walton have time to attempt to teach hitting?!

This team lives and dies by the home run on offense. They really struggle scoring consistently driving runs in with base hits. But as long as you win, I guess.
