OSU has its final regular season home weekend starting tonight against Texas Tech. Most prognosticators have us NOT hosting currently, but we have two weekends to change that.
Texas Tech is a bit down (30-20, 12-15) but Josh is 14-23 all time versus them so it probably won't be easy.
Of course Tech will start a lefty: Ryan Free — 5-1, 4.79 ERA in 14 appearances (six starts); 30 K, 16 BB in 41.1 IP
Tech is WAY better than us at the plate as usual (.308 to .282) and only has 9 less HRs (90-81). They are 12th in the nation in scoring, we are 46th.
Their pitching hasn't been great, with a team ERA of 5.41 (to our 4.38) but we heard that about Texas, too.
The Raiders are still dangerous, so we need good starts and good plate approaches, especially from the lefties.
