OT: General CFB Thread

OU has reportedly offered $3 million a year to Knowles. Penn State is offering $3.2 million. Before anyone tells me OU can’t afford that kind of money, I am just reporting what I heard. Also, like we had a donor buy us David Taylor, OU has donors who can buy Jim Knowles.

So does Ohio State.

This ain’t no 3 star qb or uninterested linebacker the goons are try to poach, so no they probably don’t have enough money to make it happen

What about your girl in Oklahoma?

Evidently the donors that can buy Jim Knowles weren’t interested

I said this with the Pavia ruling-what’s the logic here?

The NIL $ is market driven. If you’re perceived to have value, you’ll get an offer. Pro drafts work the same way.

If you’re not offered D1 opportunities and NIL, that’s the market for your talent. If you’re not drafted, that’s the market for your talent..

I guess I don’t see how the court seems to be taking the stance that the governing body’s policy on limiting participation guidelines mean less than the individual’s here. It’s not a right that someone is guaranteed a full five years at the D1 level-nowhere is that guaranteed. Further, how do the NFL and NBA policies stand up legally, but the NCAA’s does not?
