Alabama loses again. Hysterical after a thousand hypothetical Alabama playoff victories shared by SEC fans/media after the first round of the playoffs.

Also of note, according to the 247 composite rankings, this Alabama team was the most talented team to be fielded since the inception of the composite scores. The second most talented team, the 2022 Crimson Tide, also failed to make the playoffs. Just goes to show that recruiting rankings are egregiously over-prioritized by fans.

Edit: further dogpiling, Alabama is 6-5 in their last 11 games against P4 conference teams. Woof.

The goalposts will get moved, again, & the talk will be about lack of motivation for a non-playoff game.😏 The same idiots will die on this hill for a 4 loss team, FOUR, rather than acknowledge Bama’s glaring inconsistency.
You almost wonder if they realize Saban isn’t strolling the sidelines anymore. Makes you wonder if they even recall the years after Stallings when Bama was wandering the college football desert.
Aside from tOSU, it’s hard to think of any blueblood program that hasn’t struggled to find the right coach at some point. Hell, we just watched Texas, with all the resources in the world, struggle for 14 years after Mack left.

Michigan also had a bunch of opt outs that Bama didn't have.
